Description: Within Cummins, being a “green belt” requires 20-40% of your time to be dedicated to Six Sigma projects. Green belt “certification” is obtained after the successful completion of three approved “Six Sigma” projects; a status which I achieved in May 2012.

Course Content:
To gain the knowledge and skills required of a professional software developer, designing and building software that is robust, reliable and attractive to use, often co-operating with others as part of a development team. Worked using first class computing facilities, Windows and Unix/Linux systems; teaching networks; a wireless network; and a wide range of software. The emphasis was on developing hands-on, practical skills in software development, as well as an understanding of the human and social contexts of software systems.
